In accordance with the functions and responsibilities assigned to the China Green Food Development Center (hereinafter referred to as the "National Green Food Center") by the Central Organization Establishment Commission and the Party Leadership Group of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. National Green Food Center has decided to establish the Organic Agriculture and Organic Product Joint Action Mechanism Office (hereinafter referred to as the "Organic Office"). The daily work of the Organic Office is undertaken by the China Organic Food Certification Center (hereinafter referred to as the "Organic Center").

The main tasks of the Organic Office includes participating in the formulation and implementation of relevant regulations, plans, and policy measures for the development of organic agriculture and organic products. It also involves participating in the development, promotion, and application of standards for organic agriculture and organic products. In addition, the office organizes international exchanges and cooperation in organic agriculture.
