Recently, COFCC reached a cooperation intention and signed a cooperation agreement with BioGro, an organic product certification body in New Zealand. COFCC and BioGro will carry out comprehensive cooperation in areas such as organic agriculture technology exchange, organic product certification, and organic product market promotion. Under this framework, COFCC issued a China Organic Product Certification certificate for the first time to New Zealand organic wine certified by BioGro, based on the China-New Zealand Organic Product Mutual Recognition Arrangement. This marks the official launch of a new business area in which COFCC issues organic certificates for New Zealand organic products under the mutual recognition arrangement.
